Day 8: Cups
It happens to everyone. One day your kitchen is well stocked and tidy, then suddenly you’ve crossed into hoarding territory. If your cabinets are overflowing with faded souvenir cups, water bottles with no matching lids, and sippy cups even though your youngest is driving…you have found your challenge for today!
A good rule of thumb when looking to pair down your cups is to keep 2 of each type per person in your household. For example a family of 5 may keep 10 plastic cups, 10 glasses, and 10 water bottles. If you are not a mug family, only keep enough for the people that actually use them.
But I host guests, what then? Of course you can have a few extra on hand for when you host. The key is to be practical and not go overboard.
Some people prioritize keeping sets that match. Others prioritize items that are sentimental to them. I can’t tell you what decision to make, but if this is hard and you need a helping hand click here to reach out!
