Day 1: Board Games

We all have that one closet stacked high with games. Even though a physical game is so much better than your kids zoning out on a screen, pairing down to the ones that actually get used will help you breathe. (Not to mention they are less likely to fall on your head when you try and pull one from the bottom)

Questions to ask yourself when figuring out what to purge.

  1. Is this game on level with the age of my kids?

  2. Does this game have all the necessary pieces?

  3. Do my kids/family enjoy this game often?

If the answer to these questions is no, then it’s time to say goodbye.

What should you do with it now?

  1. If it has all the necessary pieces consider donation

  2. If it is in rough shape and can’t be donated try to recycle based on material
